Hello Somebody,

I want to move some temporary tables from one server to another. ie from a
test server to a live server. The two databases on the two servers have the
same name.

This is something I have never done before in sybase but I know it is
possible in oracle.

Could you send me a sample code explaining what every part does so that I
can modify it to my needs.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Send me an e-mail to andrew@ebenuwah.freeserve.co.uk or
andrew.ebenuwah@webscript.co.uk

Regards
Andrew.

Hi;

At first glance, there are two things you can do;
1. Obviously you can bcp out the data for each table to bcp in on the
production server.,
2. If you are looking for an easier way of doing this I would advise you to
have a look at CIS section of Sybooks..

Good luck.
