We have several developers who log in via remote desktop.
Every so often it requires them to reenter the license key.
When entering the key it via remote desktop it will not
activate. We have to log in as user on the desktop itself.
Does anyone know of a work around or the cause of this
problem? We are using Powerbuilder Classic 12.1

I think you have to set up Served Licenses instead of stand-alone.

HI Stephen;

For any virtualized environment ... you would need to install a
"SySam Server" and have that server host the PB licenses.

Chris,

Is there any good documentation on installing and getting
the server up and running. I have installed and am using
lmtools, but having issues with the ports.

-15, 570 - Yes I have enabled the ports 27000-27009
Telnet port(23) on node ppbuild01 does not respond.
