Hi
I work with some fairly large DBs with many schemas.
In Powerdesigner I can specify that the table names in the
Physical Diagram are shown with Schema (Owner). However,
when I navigate with the Object Browser, I have a Schema
branch and a Table branch but now way of easily relating the
two.
Ideally I'd like the Object Browser to (optionally) show the
Schema name as part of the Table name in the Table branch.
Is this possible now? (I may have missed the option or
Display Preference). If not, is there some other way to see
a heirarchy of Tables within Schema?
Thanks, James

Hi James,

"display preferences" of object browser cannot be modified
even in latest PD version. But you can go to menu Model -
Tables and make sure, that you can see both Table.Name and
Owner. Otherwise use Customize Columns and Filter button to
set it up. You can also use sorting and filtering in this
list as you need.

HTH,
Ondrej Divis

Hi Ondrej
Thanks for your help.
It at least gives me a list tables grouped by schema.
I look forward to some better method of presentation in the
future.
Much appreciated.
James
