My repserver hardware is having 1 physical processor, 4 core
(each core with 4 threads), total 16 threads.

If I am planning for server based licensing I have to go for
all 4 core licensing ? Or
If I keep only 4 threads online(1 core) out of 16 threads,
can I go for single core licensing?

Please share the experiences.

Thank you

Sybase licenses it per core.

You would need to purchase for the # of cores for the physical box in
your case. So 4
