Hi,please advise how to purge transaction coming from PRS to
RRS. I had to rebuild RRS warm standby and loaded databases
from PRS but I am still getting old transactions coming to
RRS.
I dropped the route and also purge it but did not help.

You'll need to provide more details of your environment ...

- ASE and RS versions (primary and replicate)

- your email title says MSA but you mention warm standby in your post; these are different ways of configuring
replication and thus may require different steps to get back in sync; so please provide detailed description of how many
ASE and RS instances you have and whether you're using warm standby, MSA or a mix

- exactly what steps did you take to 'rebuild' your environment

PRS is 15.6 ESD2 repserver with wamstandby of 2 ASE 15.0.3

RRS is ESD2 repserver with wamstandby with wamstandby of two
ASE 15.5.

There were some transactions left for replication from PRS.
I have loaded on RRS databases dumped from primary database
on PRS and now its complaining that connection can not be
resumed because of duplicate rows. We dont care about old
transactions we wont to clean them and start replication
from the point when the db dump was created. I checked
queues and even droped and purged routes but those
transactions keep coming to RRS.
How to get rid of them?

I'm still a little confused by your mixed terminology, so let's try this another way ...

From your last post you mention 2 warm standby configurations that sound like:

ASE_1 --> PRS --> ASE_2

and

ASE_3 --> RRS --> ASE_4

where:

ASE_1 is ASE 15.0.3; is primary/active database in warmstandby with ASE_2
ASE_2 is ASE 15.0.3; is replicate/standby database in warmstandby with ASE_1

ASE_3 is ASE 15.5; is primary/active database in warmstandby with ASE_4
ASE_4 is ASE 15.5; is replicate/standby database in warmstandby with ASE_3

PRS is RS 15.6 ESD #2; manages logical connection for warmstandby between ASE_1 & ASE_2
RRS is RS 15.6 ESD #2; manages logical connection for warmstandby between ASE_3 & ASE_4

Is the above correct?

Also, what version of ASE 15.5 are you using? IR/GS, ESD #1, ESD #2, ESD #3, ESD #4, ESD #5?

-------------

In your last email you mention dumping and loading databases ...

Assuming the above layout is correct ... please state which ASE_? you dumped from, and which ASE_? loaded into

-------------

In an earlier email you mentioned a route ...

Do you have a route from PRS to RRS?
Do you have a route from RRS to PRS?

Do you have any databases configured using MSA replication? [Trying to figure out why you have routes and what said
routes are used for.]
