Dear all
Today my RS15.6 raised a error --
'Unclosed quote before the character string'
When I dumped the queue and checked the content , I found
--
delete from dbo.AAtblDrugMain where RCRC_ID='SM1V' and
DRUG_CAT='M' and
CHEM_NAME_CH='圣·约翰草提取
物' and
CHEM_NAME_ENG='EXTRACT　OF　ST.JOHN'S　WORT'
and DOSAGE_TYPE_CH='片剂' and
DOSAGE_TYPE_ENG=' ' and LOAD_FROM='LOCAL_LST' and
BMI_PAY_IND='B' and CREATE_USER='tangb' and
CREATE_DTM='20080526 01:10:11:000' and
UPDATE_USER='tangb' and UPDATE_DTM='20080526
01:10:11:000' and COMMENT=' '

here's the issue part --
CHEM_NAME_ENG='EXTRACT　OF　ST.JOHN'S　WORT'
-- after the ST.JOHN there's only one single quote not the
correct two single quotes...

Is it a bug in RS15.6? Or any configuration need to patch
it? Thanks for all

Best Regards
Eisen

You might want to check few things..

(1) are you using statement replication ? if so can you try to do this
transaction after turning statement replication off ?

(2) Have you changed settings for dsi_quoted_identifier ? , execute below
command to verify ..
admin config ,"connection","SERVERNAME","DBNAME",dsi_quoted_identifier

(3) Do you have repdef at tabel level ? if so can you post it here ?

Is this problem consistent ?. can you create a dummy table and reproduce
the problem ? , it seems working with repserver 15.5 , i could not check
with 15.6 though

create table mytable col1 (varchar 20)
go
insert into mytable values("ST.JOHN'S&#12288")
go

Hi Manish
Thanks for you help. Here's the answer:
1) I'm not using statement replication. My RS system is a
MSA system with only "select into" statement replication.
But here it's raised from a 'insert ... select *' statement.
2) the config value and run value are both "<server
default>"
3) I'm not using table replication, I'm using a MSA system.

Thanks again.
Best Regards

Hi Manish
It's not consistent. I tested it again and again. It
never raised...It only happened on only last Saturday night.
I'm also puzzled... maybe it's due to a "insert ... select *
from proxy_table"? But the source data has been updated, so
I can't find that data again...(It's a production DB.)
