hi folks. simple question, i think.

how can you tell if an installed rep server is 64 or 32 bit
?
this is on linux x86. the RSSD server is ase 64bit.

repserver -v should let you know the result .

before to that , source SYBASE.sh

In the OS, just run (on the command line): repserver -v
Inside RS, run the command: "admin version"

In both cases the version string is displayed, for example:

Replication Server/15.6/EBF 18546 ESD#1/Linux AMD64/Linux 2.6.9-55.ELsmp
x86_64/1/DEBUG64/Thu Feb 10 00:11:38 2011

Look for "x86_64". If this is present 9as above), it's 64-bit RS. If
not, then it's 32-bit.

BTW, it's perfectly fine if you're runnign 32-bit RS with a 64-bit ASE
RSSD: these things are unrelated.
