Hi all,

We have a problem with new replication definitions created
on the PRS not appearing on the RRS. Existing replication
definitions and subscriptions have no issue, and replication
works between these two sites as per normal. Just the new
repdefs that does not appear at the RRS which has me
stumped. Where do we start?

We're running: Replication Server/15.2/ONE-OFF EBF
19245/Sun_svr4/OS 5.8/1/OPT/Tue May 31 12:19:13 2011

Thanks,
Thomas

Hello Thomas,

Do admin health and admin who_is_down show that everything is ok ?

It seems that there is a problem with the route between the
servers, or with the rep agent of the rssd database of the PRS.

Existing definitons were replicated to the RRS at the time they were
created, so those keep working fine.

What messages appeared in the errorlog of botht he RRS and the PRS
at the time to replication definitions were created ?

Luc.

Morning Luc,

Both admin who_is_down and admin health showed no problems.
Error logs are clean too.

Since it is a test environment, and time is short, we zapped
the replication setup, and started anew on Friday. I would
have liked to spend more time on finding the root cause, but
we have to get the test environment up and running. Pity,
since this would have been a good learning experience to get
to the bottom of this.

Thomas
