Just want to know about the possible usage of the Function
String in Sybase Replication Whatever you have implemented
at all in your enviornment?

there are many use cases in which you can use function string. For example
you replicate multiple primary dbs to single reporting db
your business wants 20 years of old data in to generate certain report, in
such cases it will be good idea to use function strings.
you don't delete anything from reporting db, but you do from primary db
because you don't want oltp dbs to grow very big
and therefore your deletes do not replicate for those table which are used
for reporting purpose in reporting db, you customize function string
so that deletes in primary do not replicate. This is only 1 example there
can be many more !
