I have created an android project via Eclipse and try to use UL databases. I
use the source sample from the Sybase folder in order to connect to the
base. Eclipse finishes with an exception after the line marked with (*). The
log is in the file attached. Thanks.

if (_config == null) {

_config = createConfig("custdb.udb");

_config.setLazyLoadIndexes(true);

}

try {

if (hasArg(args, RESET)) {

_conn = DatabaseManager.createDatabase(_config);

} else {

_conn = DatabaseManager.connect(_config); (*)

}

} catch (ULjException e) {

_conn = DatabaseManager.createDatabase(_config);

}

It is unable to locate a native library required. Please verify that
UltraLiteJNI12.jar and libultralitej12.so are accessible by your project.

I have already connected the neccessary libraries to the project. Eclipse
can not find the JniDbMgr class that implements the DatabaseManager
interface.

According to your stack trace the dalvik VM cannot find the native
library libultralitej12.so. If you copy it to the libs\armeabi
directory in your Eclipse project, it will be deployed to the Android
system with your application.
