Hi all,

I have this script:

"D:\Program Files\SQL Anywhere 12\BIN64\ulinit" -a
"DBF=D:\environments\development\mobileServitor\Remote\db\mobileServitor.db;UID=dba;PWD=sql;ENG=mobileServitor_DEV_Remote"
-c
"DBF=D:\environments\development\mobileServitor\Remote\db\mobileServitor_fromAsa.udb;UID=dba;PWD=sql"
-n SERVITOR -n MOBILE_NOSYNC -n UPLOAD_JOB -n UPLOAD_TIME -n
DOWNLOAD_LOGIN -s SERVITOR -s UPLOAD_JOB -s UPLOAD_TIME -s DOWNLOAD_LOGIN
This works in 11.0.1. but does not work in 12.0.1.

If I take out the path to the Ultralite, i.e.

"D:\Program Files\SQL Anywhere 12\BIN64\ulinit" -a
"DBF=D:\environments\development\mobileServitor\Remote\db\mobileServitor.db;UID=dba;PWD=sql;ENG=mobileServitor_DEV_Remote"
-c "DBF=mobileServitor_fromAsa.udb;UID=dba;PWD=sql" -n SERVITOR -n
MOBILE_NOSYNC -n UPLOAD_JOB -n UPLOAD_TIME -n DOWNLOAD_LOGIN -s SERVITOR -s
UPLOAD_JOB -s UPLOAD_TIME -s DOWNLOAD_LOGIN

it works in 12.0.1. but instead of creating a file called
mobileServitor_fromAsa.udb, it creates a file called
DBF=mobileServitor_fromAsa.udb.

As far as I can tell, this is a bug.

Or is it that I need to change some of the syntax for 12.0.1. As far as I
can tell I can keep it as is.

Cheers,

Shao

The ulinit utility syntax has changed. The -c option is now used to
indicate that the database should be created with case sensitivity.

Here is an example:

ulinit -y -a "DBF=custdb;ENG=CustDB;UID=dba;PWD=sql"
c:\sa\sa12\samples\UltraLite\custdb\custdb.udb
--pub=custdb_tables

-chris
