Hi,

I need to send XML formatted data to a server using posturl. The connect
itself using posturl and an empty blob works fine. Now, how to "attach" the
XML data? I could fill-in a datastore or create a file, whereas the last one
is not really comfortable.
What would be the best way to do?

Norb

Check out the 2nd sample about PostURL in the PB help.

Hi Arthur,

Thanks for a hint. I had a look at the 2nd example but failed to see how to
convert the contents of a datastore into a blob

A datastore would be the easiest way to do I think since I have to take data
from some other datawindow + some other variables.

Would I need to SaveAs the data into a XML file and then read the contents
of the file into a string variable? Kind of weird.

You can create the XML independently of sending posting it. You can use
a datastore and extract it with data.xml or save it to a file or create
it through coding.
