I am using Powerbuilder. Is there any way to attach a file
to the MS Outlook...from the Application Program itself?

N.B. The User will not have to attach the file but the
program will automatically attach the file..

thanks
niladri

Generally with office applications, if you can record a macro of
something or write a VBA process to do it, you can use ole to do the
same thing from within PB.

This example shows how you can use OLE to automate Outlook:
http://www.topwizprogramming.com/freecode_outlook.html

On that page is a link to the Outlook Object Model Reference.

Take a look at the Add method of the Attachments object. It has a short VB
example. You should eb able to figure out the Pb code by looking at the way
I coded my example.
