Hi,

You should use a parameter for the data.

Can i use it with update statement to?

here is my sql
$upd_st = ads_prepare($rConn,"update app set [Resume Text] = ? where
[Applicant ID] = ?");
$insertarray = array(1 => $id_app,2 => $rfile);
$typesarray = array( 1 => SQL_BINARY,2 => SQL_CHAR );
$updateresult = ads_execute( $upd_st, $insertarray, $typesarray );

where $rfile holds rtf file and $id_app is integer

Hi Dusan,

Yes you can use it with an update statement. Since it is RTF data you
should use SQL_CHAR for the type on both parameters. Finally your array of
parameters has the order of variables switched. It should be

$insertarray = array(1 => $rfile,2 => $id_app);

The order of the parameters in the statement is the order they should appear
in the array.
