Hi!

I just tried and upgrade from ADS7.1 + PHP 4.3.7 -> ADS 8.1 + PHP 5.2.
Now I am really stuck. My scripts worked fine before the upgrade, now
they hang forever while trying to connect. If i call the scripts at the
command line, they work without problem. After a few hours I tried
downgrading back, but now this came to the same result. I tried
reconfiguring the server, trying ISAPI and CGI module and nothing works
anymore. The phpinfo() pages works correctly via the IIS and shows the
ADS Extension. Any Idea what the problem is? The Windows 2000 Server
runs IIS 4.0. I am desparate :(

Thanx for any help in advance

Hi Christoph,

Have you checked to make sure that the appropriate versions of ace32.dll and
axcws32.dll are available? I would use Process Explorer
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/Utilities/ProcessExplorer.mspx
to determine where those DLLs are being loaded from and what version is
being loaded.

Best Regards,

Hi!

Lance, you were right, it was a DLL version conflict. But it was not
reported anywhere. The first clue was a version conflict notice when
using the CLI Version for some testing.
