Hi,

We are having a lot of problems synchronizing contacts with
Spanish clients and Spanish Lotus Notes too. There are some
fields that do not synchronize as expected and, in some
cases information is lost.
We are trying Pylon Anywhere 7.0.8 and Inotes v6.

What could be the problem?
Are someone else experimenting these problems with this
language?

Thanks

Javier,

A registry setting was added in Pylon Anywhere 7.0.1 to handle custom Domino
Contact Phone field mappings. Add the string value to the registry key:

HKLM\Synchrologic\Portal\1.0

string value: DominoPhoneFieldMap =
"<label>|<bucket_num>;<label>|<bucket_num>;....."

where label is name is not case sensitive and the bucket_num is as follows:

eOther = 0,
eWork = 1,
eHome = 2,
eFax = 3,
eMobile = 4,
ePager = 5,
eMain = 6

A reset of account or modification of record will pick up setting. Any new
contacts added will follow this mapping without a reset.

An example of the setting might be:

DominoPhoneFieldMap = "fax|3;work|1"

I have tried this, and you can add more than one entry for each
"bucket_num", for instance personal fax and mobile fax, but the name of the
field that shows up in the WebPIM may not be the one you expect.

Mike Loop
