Hi gang!

Yes, indeed, I am trying to setup an Advantage Database Server as a SQL
server in the same manner as can be done with MS-Sequel server.

I want to connect to this database at a remote location and through the
internet to boot!

I am a newbie on this one and any pointers would be great.

Thanks!

If it's a newer version of ColdFusion (MX versions -- 6 or newer), I'd
recommend using our JDBC driver. This can be downloaded from our devzone
(devzone.advantagedatabase.com). After installing, look in the help file
for information regarding registering the driver and setting the class path.
Also, follow the general setup info in the CF docs.
