Has anyone managed to get the newwindow2 event in the web browser object to
trigger. I have tried this with PB6.5 and 7 with no luck

OK, thanks. If anything, you want to consider writing a simple VB wrapper
OCX for the WebBrowser control that exposes this event. Re-writing the
entire app in VB seems to make little sense (unless you're writing a Web
browser...)
