I need to automatically download and save a file that is available form a
website in PB 7. the link where the file resides is in this format:
http://www.sitename.com/filename.exe. Any help would be appreciated

You can use the webbrowsercontrol from Microsoft and with that control, I
believe there is a method that allows you to ftp/download files.
