Environment :
-------------
IE5 Browser on NT 4
PowerDynamo 3.5.1 & Netscape Web Server 4.0 (SP1) on Solaris 2.7
Jaguar 3.6.1 & Oracle 8.1.5 on Solaris 2.6

Problem :
---------
I have hyper-links in the left hand side of my HTML Frame. I make Jaguar
component calls from these pages thru PowerDynamo. If i click the hyper-link for
the first time, Page is retrieved from the Cache. If i click the hyper-link for
the second time, Refreshed page is retrieved from the Server. I have coded the
following META-tags in the HTML pages, still it retrieves the refreshed page
during second click.

<META http-equiv=Expires CONTEXT=0>
<META http-equiv=Pragma CONTEXT="no-cache">
<META http-equiv="Cache-Control" CONTEXT="no-cache">

The hyper link has the following code :
---------------------------------------
<A href="javascript:doURL('mcentre')">

Code for the method doURL() :
-----------------------------
function doURL(HTMLName)
{
var ls_user_id = getCookie("user_id");
var ls_category = getCookie("category");
var ls_url = "";

HTMLName = HTMLName + ".htm"

ls_url = HTMLName + "?user_id=" + ls_user_id + "&category=" + ls_category
top.FrameLimsMain.document.location = ls_url
}

Question :
----------
How to enforce the Refreshed Page retrieval from Web-Server for each click on
the hyper-link ? Early response is highly appreciated ...

Thanks,
Shaik

Hi

I'm just another developer with the same problem, i'm working on it at
this moment, for the moment just try this:

1. It is CONTENT no CONTEXT, but don't worry it doesn't work too
<META http-equiv=Expires CONTEXT=0> --> <META
http-equiv=Expires CONTENT=0>
2. just use the actual DateTime as parameter of the page, eje:

var refresco = new Date();
menu = "scripts/menutravelnet_nodriza.js?" +
escape(refresco.toLocaleString());

I hope it will be usefull for you.
Juan ;-)
