Has anyone ever had a Visual C++ Runtime Library error when running
PowerSite. I will give some background information. On one and only one
workstation we installed all EA Studio products. During the PowerSite
installation we get a PSDWC70.DLL failed to self register.
We have seen this error before (no MS JVM installed) and took the
appropriate action.
After the installation is complete we attempt to run Powersite and that's
when we get the MS Visual C++ runtime Library error.

Thanks in advance,

Hi Anthony.

I am not sure what you mean by taking the appropriate action.
I assume you installed the MS JVM. Then, did you rerun the install, or did
you manually try to register PSDWC70.DLL? I recall one cae where an
incompatible version of comcat.dll was preventing the file to be registered
properly.

What is the error that you see? Does PowerSite shut down after the error?
Do you have MS Visual C++ installed? (You don't need it, but I am
wondering...)

Cheers,
Jackie
