A client has requested a CGI script that creates and emails a
printable document (in his case, a Service Request Order) based on
input from an HTML form. In this regard, everything is fine. I used
Perl to create the document and email it. The problem is with the
printing. How do I know what the correct width to set my tables so
they print on the page properly. Even though they seem ok in the
browser, the printed version tends to run off the right hand side of
the page. And, not surprizingly, IE and NS each print differently.

So, for a 7" wide page, what width value do I use? Is it really hit
and miss or are there some magic numbers? This is the first time I've
ever tried this.
