It's easy in PB9 to export DW into XML. Is it as easy to import XML into the
DW?

Pretty much yes. You can set up an import template that mirrors the
XML document (you can do this based on a schema or DTD, but you have
to do it manually).

The Import functions have been modified to support XML as an import
type.

If you don't use a template then your XML data must match the layout
of the DataWindow columns (similar to importing a CSV or tab delimited
text file).
