Dear All

Whether to learn Java/XML is essential for new
versions of PB 8/9. Because I observed that
it's new feauture much related to Java/XML.

It is important only if you need to or want to take advantage of those
features. For what it is worth, you don't have to learn much if any
Java to take advantage of the JSP and EJB support features in PB 9. As
for XML, if you need to exchange data with external applications it is
probably a good way to go.

One of the most overlooked (in my opinion) features of PowerBuilder
9.0 is its support for web services.
