TrySybase is the new way to experience Sybase software and to explore new
features without the time and effort of downloading, installing and
configuring the software. Use our pre-configured software environments to
get an interactive and dynamic experience as well as a true understanding of
the products.

The URL is :

This newsgroups is intended to help folks w/ Q in order to form an FAQ.

Adam

FYI: people who use Outlook Express (and maybe other tools) as newsreaders
get a message as soon as any new newsgroups appear on forums to which they
connect, eg forums.sybase.com. It asks us whether we want to subscribe to
the new newsgroup - which I always do if it isn't clear what it is about.
Then I later unsubscribe if it doesn't interest me.

Therefore, as soon as this newsgroup was created, we knew about it - and
were immediately interested to know what it was about.

For that reason, something needs to be there immediately to tell people why
it has been created, eg the URL that you gave in your last post.

Otherwise, people start asking questions........as Philippe did.

Cheers - and good luck with the new TrySybase thing.

Andrew
